Geneva!

do not hear from me with very few posts as they are in Switzerland for my dissertation. But I take this opportunity to let you know the beauty of the place.
begin from Geneva, home of Calvin. I
the definosco a little Paris, for the image I posted below, even if they are actually two cities that are different in many ways.

Get off the train at Cointrin and already feel the air of international common in Switzerland. Everything will be repeated at least three languages \u200b\u200bby the speakers of airport or train station.
Now you find yourself on the lake and on the "Pont du Mont-Blanc, at the mouth of the river Rhone, from which, when the weather is nice you can see the majestic and imposing Mont Blanc with its approximately 4800 m in height.
Not only that, the same bridge the view is immediately drawn to the famous "jet d'eau, or water jet, which has become the symbol of Geneva, which also reaches the 140 m high. Its origin is purely technical, that served as a release valve for a water pipeline, around 1800 or so, and was placed in a location not far from its current position, then it was gradually assigned symbolic value, until it became the symbol of Geneva.

A must is a stroll through the park where the watch is on the grass, since the clocks are the pride of the Swiss.

Walking towards the old town, one can not help but admire the luxurious shop windows and in the case and to swanky famous brands of watches and big names in fashion. But most impressive is the cathedral of Geneva, from the top of which you can see the whole city: the lake, parks, the water jet.

If you want to Geneva in an all-inclusive package you must climb up there and you will be satisfied. A breathtaking view that is indelible in the memories, even if the weather is gloomy.
I hope that with my pictures and my staff, modest account of the visit made to this city, could tempt you to want to see this city live, even in good weather!
